Groningen is updating its roads and railways, with the aim of improving the accessibility of the city and region. The following projects are currently underway.
Traffic nuisance
The aim of the above projects is to improve the accessibility of the city, but traffic nuisance is unavoidable whilst work is underway. Want to know which roads are closed? View the list of maintenance work and/or the Smart Map.
Gerealiseerd
In de afgelopen jaren zijn er P+R-terreinen aangelegd of uitgebreid. De eerste doorfietsroutes zijn klaar. Op een aantal trajecten rijden extra (snel)treinen. En door de Helperzoomtunnel en onderdoorgang Paterswoldseweg hoeven treinen en het overige verkeer niet op elkaar te wachten.
